Angeno’s/Zimmerman Bar & Grill (ZBG) was Minnesota’s first account and continues to be one of the largest Canción Tequila accounts in the country. In 2014, when Mexican Moonshine was introduced to the owners of ZBG, Shawn Deilke and Missy Willadson graciously agreed to carry our delicious tequila. Shawn and Missy cautioned not to expect many sales because few of their customers ordered tequila or margaritas.

Canción Tequila, Missy and Shawn worked together to develop the “Minnesota Margarita”. The Minnesota Margarita made ZBG the “go-to” bar for excellent Canción Tequila and delicious, fresh, Minnesota Margaritas.  Tuesday night became “Taco Tuesday” featuring $2.00 tacos and $5.00 Minnesota Margaritas.   Even Canción founder Roger Clyne has visited to perform and support the brand in the tiny town of Zimmerman, MN.    In that first year, ZBG sold 11 cases of Canción. Since that time, ZBG and Canción have continued to partner, serving over 60 cases in 2020. This year, ZBG and its customers will enjoy more than 70 cases of Canción Tequila, making it one of the top ten accounts in the country. Not bad for a little pizza restaurant that doesn’t sell much tequila!

The next time you are in Minnesota, stop at ZBG for delicious pizza, chicken wings, burgers, pull tabs, meat raffles and Minnesota Margaritas.
